Withholding Advisor
The Withholding Advisor assists the Employee and/or the Human Resources department on the proper withholding certificates needed, based on the employee's resident State and work state(s). Reciprocity arrangements, nexus rules and other business rules that affect form selection are built into the Withholding Advisor.
Electronic Withholding Forms
The StateW4.com service is a web-based solution for the preparation of withholding certificates. This service is accessed from your Intranet or Employee Self-Service portal. The employee prepares their withholding forms online. The completed forms can be printed for paper submission or emailed to the Payroll/HR department. Data is validated down to the field level and the Form level to assure that data is correct, mandatory entries have been made and no conflicts exist. StateW4.com also includes the Withholding Advisor decision making capabilities.
Employee Exemption Certificate Software Development Kit (EEC
SDK)
The EEC SDK is a development kit for fully integrating electronic withholding forms with your internal HR/Payroll applications. Employees access the SDK to use the Withholding Advisor decision making capabilities, pre-fill the withholding forms with their data, prepare the certificates online, and sign the forms electronically to complete the process. The transaction data is stored on your server and the payroll system is updated with the new settings---all without paper! The EEC SDK is compatible with all major payroll applications and service providers.
